Good:

Upgraded 7741g to 8gb RAM, big boost to virtual machine performance. It should also be possible to replace the dual-core Core i3 for a quad-core i7. Tempting...very tempting.
Only bottleneck now is the hard drive, a 5400rpm 500gb drive. Shame it doesn't have dual hard drive bays like some 17" laptops.
Have hopefully sold my old iPod touch to someone in work.

Bad:

Work is shit, hate it right now.
Haven't eaten well this week at all.
Car has issues.
- Exhaust now very noisy indeed, but nothing hanging down that I can see.
- Chequered wing kicked in by persons unknown, severely dented and indicator smashed. Not sure if if can be pulled out or not. Tempted to try with the floor tile lifter in work.
- Brakes noisy and not performing as well as they should.
