Sart

A good weekend all round. My cousin Pauline came down for the first time since January to stay with my Dad, now that her breast cancer treatment has finally ended and she's back in work. So we spent yesterday hanging out and catching up. She had her laptop with her which was unfortunately inflicted with Vista and was running like a complete dog, so we went out and got a copy of Windows 7 for it, but then realised her optical drive doesn't work. That evening we went to the Prosperity in Rhuddlan. It's a Chinese which has a whole page of vegetarian stuff, which was ideal for Pauline. It was a really good meal.

Today went back over with my external DVD drive and we spent a few hours rebuilding her laptop. It's relatively old Compaq but it made a huge difference to the machine, like it always does if Vista is involved.

Didn't do much else today when I got home. Took the bike out for a short run, watched some more Big Bang Theory. Sold another old laptop on Ebay, good news.

The tacky Ferrari laptop is running well with the SSD and the 250gb drive from it is now a backup drive which is nice.

Hadn't seen this Dave Allen clip in years, damn he was funny.
