Computers suck

Why do computers do things? This machine has been fine since the upgrade to the latest version of Ubuntu. It was a slight struggle to get the dual monitors working again but everything else was fine. But today after a reboot, no sound. At all. The hardware is fine as I booted it from the live CD and it played sound fine. It thinks it's playing sound but no actual sound comes out. Feck. Also had problems setting up a laptop with Windows which refused to install any drivers and the website was a total waste of time. So gave up and put Ubuntu on it which worked first time with everything.

Finished Doctor Who Series 2. Really good, I thought. There were some really good episodes in there.
